Justin and Christa's wedding combined a stunning fall day with rustic touches like wine barrels, creating the picture perfect celebration. All photos by Meridian Photography.

Justin and Christa, on how they met and knew they were perfect for each other...

"We met through a mutual friend, and spent the day at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.We met for the second time at Justin's (now our!) new home in Southeast Michigan, and we spent the entire night watching a movie and getting to know one another. From there, we stayed in touch as I moved back from NYC, where I was working in sales. Our relationship has grown and expanded since the first day we met."

Christa, on prepping for her wedding day...

"My bridesmaids, flower girl, mother and I all spent the day at Grand Traverse Resort Spa, where we were treated to pampering by a fantastic glam team! Meanwhile, Justin and his groomsmen spent the day enjoying cocktails at the Resort's tap room. The day before, they'd hit the links at one of Grand Traverse's prestigious courses..."
"...My bridal party and I traveled separately to the ceremony location, and completed final preparations before the ceremony. The hilltop location was perfect for a cool, cloudy fall day. The barrels that served as the altar were the perfect touch for a wine country wedding!"

Christa, on the couple's favorite memory from their wedding day...

"Our favorite memory from the day was the moment we saw each other for the first time. I was standing in the front door of my paternal grandparent’s home looking down the aisle towards Justin. He smiled back at me and gave me the reassurance needed to block out anything besides the happiness in that moment."

Justin and Christa, on their color palette...

Our color scheme included the following: blush, ivory, navy, black, grey, and marsala. We wanted our colors to pop in the beautiful Fall colors of northern Michigan.J

Justin and Christa, on their reception...

"Our reception at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa was the perfect mix of glamour and sophistication. The navy tables were covered with beautiful tall floral arrangements..."
"...The ombre cake was the perfect touch, seated in the center of the dance floor, surrounded by rosette cupcakes and scrumptious donut holes..."
"...And our guests danced the night away under a beautifully draped chandelier, surrounding us with our family and friends."
